Payment
Sarva offers payment processing through Etsy and PayPal, accepting all major credit cards. You don’t need a PayPal account to shop on Etsy.
Shipping – Sarva Ships Green!
Sarva ships strictly via United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority Mail. This is the ONLY shipping service in the nation to achieve “Cradle to Cradle” certification at the Silver level. USPS packaging materials and supplies exceed government standards, including those of the EPA. Read more here. Priority Mail is trackable, cost competitive, and fast.

Sales Tax – Attention Ohio Residents!
Sarva is required by law to charge sales tax on both merchandise and shipping charges for Ohio residents at a rate of 7.75%.
International Orders
Please contact Sarva prior to ordering so we can discuss shipping charges for your location. Remember that a soap order can be a heavy item to ship, and sadly the shipping cost can be as much as the cost of your order.
When contacting Sarva, please include:
- the items you wish to order and quantity of each
- your full shipping address including postal code
- e-mail address for return communication
I will e-mail you back with a shipping quote and total cost. With your approval of shipping charges, I will send you a PayPal invoice. Upon receipt of payment, I will process your order.
I prefer to ship via United States Postal International Priority Mail. Customers are responsible for all international duty and customs fees, as well as package pickup procedures.
Order Processing
Most orders are processed within two business days. If you want to change your order, please contact me or convo me via Etsy.
As a measure of conservation and care for our environment, your order may arrive in a repurposed/reused cardboard box, and your soaps may be padded for transit with clean, repurposed packing materials. Please reuse or recycle these materials on your end!
Returns
Sarva does not accept product returns of non-defective merchandise. Soaps are sanitary items, and I could not in good conscience ship your returned soap product to another customer. However, if you believe your order is defective or was damaged in transit, please contact me and let me know. Remember to save your packaging as it may need to be examined.
Free Samples
Due to the volume of inquiries received, Sarva is not able to honor requests for free product samples.
Product Availability
Soapmaking is a detailed, old-fashioned, time-intensive art form. Sarva soaps are made in small batches, ensuring product freshness and artistic uniqueness. The soapmaking process requires about 4 weeks from start to finish, and it can be difficult to predict demand. For this reason, though the website and Etsy shop are updated constantly, sometimes a product unexpectedly runs out of stock. In this situation, I will contact you and offer a substitute or a credit.
Product Consistency
Sarva soap is made entirely by hand and is subject to minor variation. All weights shown on Sarva’s web site and product labeling are approximate. Soaps of the same variety have minor cosmetic and scent variations from one bar to another; this is due to subtle and desirable variances in all-natural ingredients and normal variations in soapmaking technique. As a soapmaker, I strive for consistency while still honoring the charm and character of a natural, handcrafted product. Customers find this to be a refreshing alternative to homogenized, mass-produced consumer goods.
Security and Privacy
Your contact information and payment information are handled entirely through Etsy and PayPal. Unauthorized parties will never access your personal data, and Sarva does not have access to your credit card information.
For your own safety, please do NOT use e-mail or the website contact form to send Sarva any payment information!
Sarva does not sell customers’ personal information.

Wholesale/Consignment Inquiries
Sarva is presently not accepting wholesale inquiries, though this may change in the future. Sarva does not offer products on consignment.
